Electronic Discovery & Disclosure

Discovery now encompasses new information mediums such as word processing documents, emails, voice messages, SMS, etc. Additional new sources of information now have bearing: water cooler gossip now is committed to email and call records are stored in company phone systems in forms that are very difficult to erase.
Discovery is now burdened with far larger sets of potential evidence in a wide variety of digital formats, making it difficult to identify relevant documents.
